Faction was born in the ultimate holiday home destination - Byron Bay with the simple mission of breaking down the barriers to owning and managing a second or holiday home by enabling vetted members to join together as true co-owners of beautifully styled and managed properties.

The managed experience of co-ownership through Faction creates access to homes that might otherwise be out of reach, providing the enjoyment and utility that comes with a second home with all the financial upside of true ownership.

Faction sells properties on behalf of owners or we acquire our own properties to on-sell
A 3-month settlement period, during which the property is rented from the current owners, allows us to style, furnish and modernise the home to meet our very high Faction styling guidelines
Faction presents the property to its community offering 1/8 co-ownership stakes
For every 1/8 share you are able to get 44 days of enjoyment per year
Faction provides the legal structure to support up to 8 co-owners and purchases any outstanding shares, which will continue to be available on the platform
All furnishing and modernising costs are clearly displayed upfront to co-owners
All maintenance and cleaning responsibilities are fully managed by Faction
We offer an equitable booking system amongst co-owners to ensure fair access to the most desirable dates

Faction’s initial focus is solely on properties in Byron Bay, Noosa, Gold Coast and Sydney’s beach suburbs (Bondi, Bronte, Clovelly and the Northern Beaches of Newport, Avalon and Palm Beach).
